Is Binance MiCA-licensed?

Binance has no current MiCA CASP authorisation and is restricting or withdrawing services for EEA users. Binance withdrew its MiCA application from Greece’s Hellenic Capital Market Commission on 24 June 2026, six days before the 1 July 2026 backstop. From 1 July 2026 it restricted services for users in several EU markets, including new sign-ups, deposits and spot orders, while it kept withdrawals open. Binance has no current MiCA register entry. It said it would apply again in another EU member state.
Practical effect: Expect service restrictions or account-closure notices. Account and withdrawal availability vary. Follow the platform's dated notice and verify the route before you move assets. Note: A withdrawn application is not a refusal, and a planned new application gives no permission to serve EEA clients. Search the ESMA register for an entity in Binance’s name before you rely on any EU service.

Account and withdrawal availability varies during a wind-down. Follow Binance's dated official notices and verify the supported withdrawal route. Plan a move to a venue with a current MiCA register entry because access can change.
Why is Binance restricting EEA users?
MiCA's transitional period ended on 1 July 2026. An in-scope provider generally needs an Article 63 authorisation or an eligible Article 60 notification route. Binance has no verified current route, so it is restricting or withdrawing services.
