38 exchanges we track hold a MiCA CASP authorisation as of 1 July 2026. The most objective way to compare them is the licence itself: a CASP authorisation covers between one and ten regulated crypto-asset services. A broader authorisation means the firm may legally offer more — custody, exchange, execution, transfers, advice — under EU supervision.
Ranked by breadth of authorisation
Where we have verified the count from the register, exchanges are ordered by how many of the ten MiCA services the licence covers. Ties are alphabetical. This is a register measure, not a quality score — a narrow licence can be exactly right for a spot-only venue.

Licensed exchanges where we have not yet verified the exact service count are listed on the full licensed page and marked accordingly — absence of a count means unverified, not zero.
Reading the table by use case
- Broad, full-service platforms sit at the top — licences covering 7–9 services (trading platform, custody, fiat ramps, execution and more).
- Euro spot liquidity: Bitvavo (AFM, Netherlands) is Europe’s largest euro spot exchange by our sources — see its detail page.
- Derivatives caveat: high-leverage perpetuals are generally not a MiCA service. Bybit EU, for example, is licensed for spot and custody but does not offer perps to EEA retail — that requires separate MiFID II permissions.
