Toobit MiCA status in detail

Toobit does not hold a verified MiCA CASP licence. EEA customers contract with Elyndret sp. z o.o. in Poland. Other users contract with Hopeful Technology Co. Ltd in the Cayman Islands. The group announced a Polish VASP registration for anti-money laundering purposes in 2025. The registration is not a MiCA CASP authorisation. Toobit’s terms restrict Bulgaria and Croatia. It is not on the ESMA CASP register.

Practical effect: Toobit has no verified CASP authorisation. Check the contracting entity and any separate permissions before you rely on MiCA conduct, safeguarding or complaint rights.

If you hold funds on Toobit

  1. Read Toobit’s latest notice for your country. It sets any account restrictions and withdrawal deadlines.
  2. Move assets to a wallet you control or to a MiCA-licensed exchange. Send a small test transfer first and check the network.
  3. Keep statements, transaction IDs and the date of each withdrawal.
  4. If a withdrawal fails, write to support and report the firm to your national regulator. The MiCA warning list shows whether a regulator has already flagged it. Read when an exchange can freeze your funds.

Can I still use Toobit from the EU?

MiCA does not itself make account holding illegal. National and product rules can still apply. Since 1 July 2026, an in-scope provider generally needs an Article 63 authorisation or an eligible Article 60 notification route. Toobit can apply location restrictions or close user accounts.

Is money on Toobit protected under MiCA?
